Introduction to Holacracy

Holacracy® is a scalable and real-world tested approach for running an agile company

This workshop introduces Holacracy, a new "social technology" for structuring, governing, and running an agile organization.

The goals of Holacracy are bold: make your company more adaptive and responsive to its environment, increase organizational clarity (about who does what, expects what, and decides what), minimize 'office politics’, and increase employee engagement and empowerment.

Holacracy fundamentally changes how decisions are made and how power is distributed, and the best way to learn how it works is to experience it. This workshop provides an experiential “taste” of working with Holacracy.

 

Workshop includes:

  • A brief overview of Holacracy key concepts
  • A simulation using Holacracy, where you will experience:
    • Holacracy's tactical meeting and how it is used to triage operational issues quickly and reliably
    • Holacracy's governance meeting and how it evolves the organization’s structure to better align the work to the company’s purpose
  • Discussion and Q&A throughout the workshop
